Teaching Philosophy and Goals:

 

My hopes when I teach are to share my love and enthusiasm for gymnastics, dance and fitness (combined with my knowledge of circus arts, sports psychology, surfing, etc) with all my students.

 

I create a fun and positive learning environment for all ages and levels of dance, gymnastics and fitness - including pre-school, special needs classes, in person and zoom privates, recreational classes and competitive teams.

 

The gym and studio are for learning, making mistakes, and most importantly, having fun. I believe in positive coaching and creating an atmosphere where we all cheer each other on and help each other when we are having trouble with a skill. I also believe in having a hard work ethic but with that comes laughing a lot! Training with my dance teachers and fellow dancers teach me so much and inspire me, but I have to say, the students I work with bring another dimension and help make me a better teacher, dancer and person.

And if I could start dance at such a late age in the game, I know that anyone can do anything they want to. If you bring your heart and soul to class, you will be amazed at how high you can soar!
