PERFORMER
After years as a competitive gymnast, my NYC dream of "making it" as professional dancer came true when I was accepted as a company member of JKing Dance Company in 2008. Despite a serious ACL rupture in 2010, reconstructive knee surgery and endless hours of physical therapy, I was able to return to dance and gymnastics. And from 2011-2019, I had the honor being Artistic Director, Joyce King's assistant.
In addition to JKDC, my New York adventures have included having assisted my teacher, Chuck Kelly, with the acrobatics teacher training at Dance Educators of America, performing with 'Dance it Forward', a Jeff Shade project of going into homeless shelters to perform and serve hot meals to those in need during holiday season.
Past performance and choreographic opportunities include, choreographing and performing for the Xiana Fairchild Recovery Foundation (being able to combine my skills to help the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children raise funds to help aid in the search for missing 7 year old, Xiana Fairchild meant the world to me), DANCEMANIACS, Ann Marie Garvin and Ann Barrett, California - International Coca-Cola commerical - Guest artist and choreographer, Skyline Community College, Diana Cushway, California and circus artist workshops/choreography/performer with Cirque du Soleil.
